How do I report my uncle was an Alumni when applying to college?

I want to apply to IIT. My uncle graduated from there. How do I indicate to the college that I have an alumni part of my family?

Thanks

If there isn’t a specific place for it on your application, then you would need to mention it in one of your essays (statement of purpose, etc.)

Many colleges ask on application forms whether a family member has attended. If the form doesn’t ask, don’t try to provide the information. One uncle’s attendance is unlikely to make any difference unless he has been a major donor (and even then it may not help). Pushing the subject is often not well-received by admissions officers.

The singular masculine form of "alumni" is "alumnus." Your uncle is an alumnus of IIT.
